Police ProtectionPolice protection is provided
by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department. In addition to rotating
deputies covering the town, several deputies live in Dike for quick response.

Fire/Ambulance ServiceA 23-member volunteer fire department provides fire and ambulance services to the community, with mutual aid agreements with nearby communities for additional support. The fire department meets the first Wednesday of every month. Siren testing is done the first Wednesday of every month.
